Alexa Velasquez

Alexa Velasquez is a Director, 3D Animator and a design researcher. She designs and creates characters analyzing and visualizing the femme body. She is an alumni from the MFA program at USC in film and television. Even though she holds a degree in film and television, she drifted off to working with 3D animation, and research, and found her love for that after covid hit, and doing film got a lot more difficult.

During her time at USC, she took part in the film simulacra, where was directed by Curry Tian.  I thought that film was very different from what I had seen before. Using live performance, and then creating effects on op of it, both digitally and through actual props were incredible to witness. I thought it was cool how thee project came along, and how she was brought into helping out on this project.

During the last few years, she also developed her own art style. Creating the hot fantasy babes, which is now something she is known for.
